The HB Series 40A is a single-port Level 2 charger built for daily home and light-commercial use, delivering enough output to take most EVs from empty to full overnight without needing a dedicated high-amperage setup. It uses a Type 2 connector, with NACS available as an option, so the same unit handles most vehicles on the road rather than locking you into one brand.

Built on the OCPP 1.6J protocol, it can communicate with backend charge management systems — useful if you’re running this as part of a multi-unit property or want visibility across several chargers rather than checking each one by hand. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity round that out, giving you remote monitoring and firmware updates without needing to physically access the unit.

The certification list is long for a reason: ETL listed under UL2231, UL2594, UL1998, and UL991, BIS/IS 17017 Part 23/24 compliant, EMC-tested, and checked against AIS 138 Part 2 and IEC 61000-3-2.
